We seek residential clients who are interested in and committed to creating homes that embrace the technology and practice of green building. Each house we design is unique and shaped by the programmatic objectives that come from the owners, site constraints, schedule and budget.

Our goal is to serve clients that appreciate the Value of Design. A great amount of attention and diligence is required for the scope of a residential project. We are helping to shape people's lives and fulfill their dreams, not simply designing a building.

Our process is thorough and demanding, and we best serve clients who are active and equal partners in the design effort. We try to schedule our commitments so that each of us is working on one house at a time. This allows us to focus on the particular needs of the project.

We work on house projects that are within 3 hour's drive of our office in Amherst, MA. This allows us to readily make site visits within a day's travel. We are often working with contractors for the first time, and we prefer to establish the relationship with the contractor very early in the process to allow the inclusion of cost estimates and construction preferences. We typically do not bid residential projects.

We participate in all the Design Phases, through construction and stay involved with the life of the building afterwards. Give us a call and we can describe our fee basis and services in greater detail.
