This project was an adaptive reuse of a textile factory. The mill had evolved through the 1800’s and 1900’s, but sat derelict as a warehouse.  Coldham&Hartman Architects was approached by the developer and completed the conceptual design with a goal of mixed-use commercial and residential spaces.

Coldham&Hartman Architects completed substantial portions of the Schematic Design phase, including the application for and receipt of the special permit from the City. The plan included 150 units of housing and new live-work situations. Our work also included successful application to the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative for a grant to inlcude 45kW of Photovoltaics on an existing
North-facing monitor roof.
